Does anyone have an idea of why Subaru switch the Impreza's engine from DOHC to SOHC? I know the 98 Impreza's have DOHC engines but from 99-2001 they came with SOHC engines. Both had about the same amount of power and fuel economy. Any Ideas?
Im not sure why, but the SOHC version had a higher peak torque. 166 vs 162
